There are thousands of Rohingya children who did not have the opportunity to attend school in Myanmar because the Myanmar regime do not recognize them as citizens and one of their ethnic groups! As a result there are hundreds of thousands of them from 5 to 15 or 18 years old who are totally illiterate! At Mercy Refugees House we have started establishing 40 classes each with about 40 students for the first graders. We need your support to continue these classes and establish higher levels all the way to high school. Each class costs about $400 a month to maintain $300 of which goes to teachers' salaries and the rest for school supplies. Your donation is tax deductible. These classes we have established mostly have no carpets, chairs or tables, for now they all sit on the floor. We teach them English, Burmese, Math, Science, and how to play chess.
